trick or treat

Worship??

This morning we decided to go to bible study then Corporate Worship. Plans change. We got everybody ready and out the door at 8:50 bible study starts at 9:00! I was so excited we buckled both girls in and Cody turned the key... Click click click!! nothing so we tried to jump start it... nothing. My sweet husband knows a lot about furniture making and fixing things but his weak area is cars! so we unloaded the girls and came back inside. (our second car is a little truck that has three small seats in the front) We decided to try and fit two car seats in the front of the truck and Cody in the jumper seat behind us. That did not work. Plan C. Cody took K to the church then he will come get me and R. I am not real sure what Brad is preaching on, But we will be there to worship with our church family!! Hopefully.

Our newest blessing has arrived. 6 lbs 1.8oz 19 inches long. Reese came a little earlier due to my high blood pressure. But she is doing great and we are so glad to have her as a part of our family.

All Dressed up

Despite not having a living room floor we have had a fun week. Kollyn is really showing her true colors sometimes good and sometimes a little less than enjoyable. All the same she is still the sweetest thing ever. Kollyn has started dancing ballet style to music when I turn it on.( I have no clue who taught her this.) She has always loved dressing up but this week She found a pair of boots that a two sizes too big that she will not take off. We went to the mall today with a sundress on and her wool boots!! I chose not to fight the battle it is her fashion not mine! Here are my favorite pictues of the week.

Our Serious little reader. She loves when we get catalogs or magazines in the mail. She wants the be the first to "read".My attemp to do laundry turned into dress up. On this day she wanted to be like Daddy.

A relaxing day at home???

Today was going to be a nice relaxing day. It was suppose to rain all day so Cody and I had planned to finish Reese's nursery and just have an enjoyable day at home! However things changed Kollyn had just woke up from her nap. Cody and I had finished the nursery and I was feeling pretty good about everything. Then Cody noticed a puddle on the floor. It turns out that our Flashing on our fire place chimney had leaked. Not a small leak, it came down through the wall and went under our wood floors. at first I thought "oh this isn't bad" Well I will let the pictures speak for themselves. Our plan for now is to let an adjuster come out and see what the damage is and get things fixed as quickly as possible. We have moved our living room furniture into the playroom and the toys are scattered where we could find a spot. One thing I am thankful for is that my husband, in the middle of pulling up the living room floor, was thinking of as many positive things as could about this. I am truly blessed to have a husband who knows how to calm me down when I just want to scream, and who can see the positive in everything!!

Today Kollyn went to mothers day out. Last year it was not a big deal because I was in the room next to her. This year I dropped her off and left! I didn't cry but it wasn't a thrill. I had not planned on sending her this year, but since my blood pressure is going up, we felt like maybe until Reese gets here she should go to "school." I think she had a great first day. Her best friend Ethan was there so I am sure that the two of them caused a little trouble for the others, but hopefully not too much!!

Today has been a very interesting day ( for a lack of better words) here is one picture. I found Kollyn like this while I was getting ready for work. She did not lock her self in just sat there with Callie who tolerated here being there.
